Polynucleotide Treatments

Regenerative injectable treatments designed to improve skin quality, hydration, elasticity and repair from within.

Why Choose Polynucleotide Treatments?

Polynucleotide treatments are regenerative injectable treatments designed to support skin repair, hydration and overall skin quality from within. Rather than adding volume or changing facial structure, they work by helping tired, damaged or ageing skin function more effectively.

They are often chosen for concerns such as fine lines, crepey texture, loss of elasticity, dullness, under-eye fatigue and skin that feels weakened or dehydrated.

Here’s why they’re becoming one of the most popular regenerative skin treatments:

Skin Repair & Regeneration

Supports the skin’s natural repair processes, helping to improve skin quality over time.

Improved Elasticity & Firmness

Helps strengthen the skin structure, improving bounce, resilience and firmness.

Deep Hydration Support

Encourages a healthier skin environment, improving hydration and overall radiance.

Fine Line & Texture Improvement

Can help soften the appearance of fine lines, crepey skin and rough texture.

Natural-Looking Results

Results develop gradually, giving a refreshed and healthier appearance without adding volume.

Versatile Treatment Areas

Suitable for areas such as the face, under-eyes, neck, décolletage and other delicate skin zones.

Pre- & Post-Treatment Care for Polynucleotide Treatments

Before Your Treatment

  • Avoid alcohol for 24–48 hours before treatment, where possible.

  • Avoid blood-thinning medications such as aspirin or ibuprofen before treatment unless medically required.

  • Avoid facials, chemical peels, laser treatments or microneedling immediately before your appointment.

  • Arrive with clean skin and avoid makeup, fake tan or heavy skincare on the treatment area.

  • Let us know if you have any active skin infection, inflammation, cold sores or are feeling unwell.

  • Avoid sunbeds and excessive sun exposure for at least 48 hours before treatment.

After Your Treatment

  • Avoid touching, rubbing or massaging the treated area for at least 24 hours unless advised otherwise.

  • Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, steam rooms, hot yoga and swimming for 24–48 hours.

  • Avoid alcohol and very hot showers for the rest of the day to help minimise swelling or bruising.

  • Small bumps, redness, tenderness or mild swelling at the injection sites can be normal and usually settle within a few days.

  • Avoid facials, chemical peels, laser treatments or microneedling in the treated area for around 2 weeks.

  • Keep well hydrated and follow your personalised aftercare advice.

Results develop gradually, with skin quality often improving over several weeks. A course of treatments is usually recommended for best results.

Frequently Asked  Questions

What are polynucleotides?

Polynucleotides are regenerative injectable treatments designed to support skin repair, hydration and overall skin quality. They work beneath the surface of the skin to help improve texture, elasticity and resilience over time.

How do polynucleotides work?

They work by supporting the skin’s natural repair processes and improving the skin environment. This can help with hydration, elasticity, collagen support and overall skin regeneration.

Are polynucleotides the same as skin boosters?

Not exactly. Skin boosters are mainly used to hydrate and improve glow, while polynucleotides are more regenerative. They focus on repair, skin quality, elasticity and long-term skin resilience.

What areas can be treated?

Common areas include the face, under-eyes, neck, décolletage and other areas where skin appears tired, crepey, thin or lacking elasticity.

When will I see results?

Results are gradual. Some people notice improvement within a few weeks, but best results usually develop over a course of treatments as the skin quality continues to improve.

How many sessions will I need?

A course is usually recommended, often spaced a few weeks apart. The exact plan depends on your skin concerns, treatment area and consultation assessment.

Is there any downtime?

Downtime is usually minimal. You may experience small bumps, redness, swelling, tenderness or bruising at injection points, which usually settle within a few days.

Are polynucleotide treatments safe?

When performed by a trained medical professional after a proper consultation, polynucleotide treatments are generally well tolerated. As with all injectable treatments, suitability, risks and aftercare will be discussed before treatment.
